Hi Netflix,
I would really like to take on your Artwork Quality and Operations Coordinator position!
I’M A GOOD FIT
I do have a sharp eye for content. I hope that’s apparent with this page I whipped up for you.
I am a wiz in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and I have my own subscription to Adobe Creative Suite. I am a wiz in Word and Excel, too. And their Google counterparts.
I do love tracking projects and asset status with spreadsheets. I used Excel before Google docs were a thing, and I still use Excel and Word.
I am sure your client has excellent tracking systems in place. I am careful to follow existing processes and I can devise new tracking systems if that’s ever needed.
WHO DOESN’T LOVE MOVIES & TV?
I’m obsessed with beautifully shot Scandinavian crime dramas like Finland’s Bordertown… and the occasional 1980s romcom.
RISKY BUSINESS
I'm not sure if this was a test or not, but I noticed a typo and a formatting mistake in the job listing. As a demo, I thought I would show you how my eagle eyes work:
TRADING PLACES
I am returning to work after taking three years off for my family. As a transition, objective (vs. subjective, creative) work appeals to me. This position involves problem solving, but the problems are easy to solve.
Is the artwork blurry?
Change the resolution or replace it.Is “Handmaid” one word or two?
Look it up.Is all of the artwork ready for this phase or campaign?
Consult the Google sheet tracker.
Thank you for considering me for this position.
Sincerely,
Hyland Baron
